Mathematics Department

The Mathematics Department at Osceola Fundamental High School is committed to helping students build strong mathematical skills while preparing them for success in high school, college, and beyond. Using Florida’s BEST Standards, our teachers work to ensure students are prepared for EOCs, AP exams, and future coursework.

Students are required to complete four math courses for graduation, including Algebra 1 and Geometry with their required EOC assessments. We offer a wide range of courses from Algebra 1 through AP Calculus BC, giving students opportunities to challenge themselves and potentially earn college credit.

Our AP offerings include:

  • AP Precalculus – potential college credit for College Algebra and Precalculus
  • AP Calculus AB – potential college credit for College Algebra, Precalculus, and Calculus I
  • AP Calculus BC – potential college credit for College Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus I, and Calculus II
  • AP Statistics – potential college credit for Statistics

*college credit is based on score earned on AP exam.

Students also have access to additional support through Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society tutoring and teacher help sessions offered throughout the week.

Our goal is to help every student develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and a strong foundation in mathematics for future success.
